Your water bill shouldn’t spike without warning. Your grass shouldn’t have dry spots next to puddles. And you definitely shouldn’t be watering your sidewalk while your flower beds go thirsty.
Regular sprinkler system maintenance fixes the stuff you can’t see yet. Misaligned heads that waste hundreds of gallons a week. Pressure imbalances that burn out valves. Clogged nozzles that turn your zones into guesswork.
We inspect every head, test every zone, check your controller settings, and adjust based on what’s actually growing in your yard. That means even coverage, lower water bills, and a system that works the way it’s supposed to. No more guessing why one section looks great and another doesn’t.
We handle irrigation systems across Palm Beach County, and we’ve seen what Florida weather does to even the best setups. Humidity fries controllers. Heat cracks lines. Storms knock sensors offline.
Golf properties deal with all of it, plus the water restrictions and soil conditions that make cookie-cutter systems fail. We don’t install the same setup twice because no two yards behave the same.
Every system we maintain gets treated like it’s our own. We show up on time, explain what we find, and only recommend what actually needs fixing. No upselling. No runaround.
We start by running through every zone while you’re there if you want to watch. Each head gets checked for coverage, angle, and pressure. If something’s off, we adjust it or flag it for repair.
Next, we test your controller. Seasonal settings that worked in March don’t work in August. We update your run times, check your rain sensor, and make sure your system isn’t watering during a downpour or in the middle of the afternoon when half of it evaporates.
Then we check for leaks. Most people don’t notice a small leak until it’s been running for months. We pressure-test your lines and look for soft spots, pooling, or unusually green patches that signal underground problems.
You get a walkthrough of what we found, what we fixed, and what to keep an eye on. If repairs are needed, we give you a straight quote with no surprises.

You get a full system inspection that covers every zone, every head, and every line. We clean or replace clogged nozzles, realign heads that have shifted, and adjust spray patterns so your water lands where it’s supposed to.
We also recalibrate your controller based on Golf’s climate and your specific landscape. Different plants need different water. Shaded areas need less. South-facing beds need more. Your system should reflect that, and most don’t without someone manually dialing it in.
Florida’s summer storms and winter dry spells put stress on irrigation systems that other states don’t deal with. We check your backflow preventer, inspect valve boxes for standing water or ant damage, and test your pressure to make sure it’s not too high or too low. Both cause problems.
If we find a cracked lateral line or a valve that’s starting to stick, we’ll let you know before it turns into a bigger issue. Catching a small leak now saves you from replacing a whole section later.
Twice a year is the standard for most residential systems in Florida. Once before summer when your lawn needs the most water, and once before winter when you’re cutting back.
That said, if you’ve got a larger property, older system, or you’re seeing uneven coverage, quarterly checks make more sense. Systems don’t break on a schedule. A head can clog in a week. A valve can stick after one storm.
Monthly inspections catch problems early, which is why a lot of our Golf clients stay on a regular plan. It’s cheaper to adjust a few heads every month than to replace dead grass or fix a line that’s been leaking since April.
Misaligned heads are number one. Something bumps them, they settle over time, or they were never aimed right to begin with. You end up watering the street or missing half a zone.
Clogged nozzles are a close second, especially with Florida’s hard water. Mineral buildup cuts your coverage in half and you don’t notice until the grass starts thinning out.
Leaking valves and cracked lines happen a lot too, usually underground where they’re hard to spot. If your water bill jumps or you’ve got a section that’s always soggy, that’s usually why. Controllers also fail more often here than in drier climates because of the humidity.
Yes, if your system has leaks or coverage issues. A single misaligned head can waste thousands of gallons a month. A small leak you can’t see might run 24/7 until someone finds it.
We’ve had clients in Golf cut their water bills by 20 to 30 percent just by fixing a few zones and updating their controller settings. Overwatering is expensive and most people don’t realize they’re doing it.
Maintenance also prevents the big repairs that really cost money. Replacing a valve or a section of mainline isn’t cheap, but catching it early when it’s just starting to fail usually means a simple fix instead of an emergency callout.
Yes. We work on all major brands including Rain Bird, Hunter, Toro, Irritrol, and Raindrip. Residential, commercial, doesn’t matter. If it’s an irrigation system, we’ve seen it and fixed it.
Older systems sometimes need parts that aren’t made anymore, but we can usually retrofit a modern equivalent that works better anyway. If your system is 15 or 20 years old, upgrades might make sense during maintenance instead of waiting for something to break.
We also handle smart controllers and Wi-Fi enabled systems. A lot of Golf properties are upgrading to weather-based controllers that adjust automatically, and we install and service those too.
We walk you through it and give you a quote on the spot if it’s something simple. Most repairs during maintenance are minor: a head replacement, a nozzle swap, a valve adjustment. We carry common parts and can usually handle it right then if you want.
For bigger issues like a mainline leak or a controller replacement, we’ll explain what’s wrong, what it’ll take to fix it, and what it costs before we do anything. No surprise charges.
You’re never obligated to fix everything the same day. Some things are urgent, like active leaks. Others can wait. We’ll tell you which is which so you can decide what makes sense for your budget.
Yes. Most of our Golf clients are on a maintenance plan because it’s easier and cheaper than scheduling one-off visits. You get regular inspections, priority scheduling, and preferred pricing on any repairs that come up.
Plans are flexible. Monthly, quarterly, or seasonal depending on what your system needs and what you want to spend. Larger properties or older systems usually benefit from more frequent visits.
Being on a plan also means we catch problems before they get expensive. We know your system, we know your property, and we’re already scheduled to be there. It takes the guesswork out of irrigation and keeps everything running the way it should year-round.
